Night of Magic and Mystery with Space Center Rotary
Houston, Texas – The Rotary Club of Space Center will hold its annual fundraising Gala on
Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Bay Oaks Country Club. The Las Vegas style event will
host an enchanting evening filled with wonder and excitement! It includes dinner with an open
bar and entertainment from Magician Paul Driscoll. A mystery Rotarian will also be honored
during the evening.
The Gala will include a live and silent auction along with a raffle for a $10,000 gift certificate for
a Royal Caribbean cruise and a $1,000 gift certificate to Moody Gardens. Only 400 tickets total
will be sold. Dinner tickets are $125 each and raffle tickets are $100 each. Sponsorships are

The purpose of the fundraising Gala is to raise funds for the 2025-2026 budget which enables
the club to fund projects both locally and globally, including such beneficiaries as:
*Clear Creek Education Foundation, for programs such as “The Leader in Me”, “Read to Them Literacy Project”, and “Robotics, Coding and Computing Initiative,”
*Support local Veterans (Recovery) organizations
*Entities providing support services for victims of domestic violence (such as Bay Area Turning Point) and Human Sex-Trafficking (Unbound Now-Houston),
*Excellence in Education and Public Service recognizing our teachers and First
Responders,
*Rotary International’s Worldwide Polio Eradication Program,
*Clean Water, sanitation, and hygiene projects in foreign countries such as Mexico, Bolivia and the Middle East, and
*Rotary Youth Exchange – Providing high school students opportunities to spend a year as a Youth Ambassador to a Foreign Country.

6070354). The club is made of approximately 75 people from the region who believe in the
