Kemah’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Set for December 3


Kemah, TX — The City of Kemah invites the community and visitors to come together for its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 3, 2024. This festive celebration is a cherished holiday tradition in Kemah, bringing friends, families, and neighbors together for an enchanting evening filled with joy, holiday music, and community spirit.

Location: 608 Bradford Ave., Kemah, TX

 

The festivities will include a range of activities for all ages:

  • Meet Santa: Children and families will have the chance to meet Santa, share their holiday wishes, and capture the perfect holiday photo.
  • Choir Performance: The Stewart Elementary Choir will kick off the evening with heartwarming holiday songs.
  • Live Music: Enjoy classic holiday music performed by local favorite Kelly Williams and join in to sing along!
  • Free Eats & Treats: Delicious seasonal snacks to keep everyone warm and cheerful.
  • Petting Zoo: Both kids and adults can enjoy a petting zoo with friendly animals.


"We’re thrilled to host this magical event and celebrate the holiday season with our community," said Robin Collins, Mayor of Kemah. "The Christmas Tree Lighting is a time-honored tradition in Kemah, and we invite everyone to join us in welcoming the holiday season with family, friends, and neighbors."


Kemah Lions Club volunteers will be serving delicious seasonal refreshments. This event is free and open to all.
