Diversity in Dance is a recreational and competitive dance studio located in Friendswood with a holistic, full-mind-and-body approach to dance and dance education. Our focus is to grow students of all abilities, not just in the art of dance, but as complete human beings, by focusing on mental health, positivity, wellness, education, inclusion, and community service. Our experienced teachers come from a variety of backgrounds but each share in the mission of Diversity in Dance to be a place where dance uplifts and soothes the soul rather than serves as an additional source of stress and anxiety. We offer a variety of classes for ages 2 through adult, including creative movement, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, acro, musical theatre, drill team prep, and improv. We also offer adult hip-hop-inspired dance fitness, ballet, contemporary, heels, and Mommy and Me Movement (taught by a certified dance therapist) for ages 18+.
