Turning 65 marks a major milestone in your life.  It's like turning 16, 18, or 21... it is the beginning of a brand new chapter!  Just like when you turn 16 and register for your license and later to vote - when you turn 65, you need to sign up/register with the government too!  The year you turn 65 the government needs information regarding your Social Security and your Healthcare.
