Schedule a screening mammogram today! UTMB Health and community partners across Galveston County are collaborating to provide screening mammograms for women in our community. The mobile mammogram van is coming to a convenient location near you! 

Visit the UTMB Mobile Mammography Van on Saturday, October 12th at College of the Mainland, STEAM Building parking lot, in Texas City during the Fiesta Comunidad Community Health Fair. 

Screening is open to the public, students, employees, and faculty. Pre-registration is required and eligibility criteria must be followed. Those interested should have health insurance that covers mammograms. *Financial assistance is available for uninsured and underserved women in our region.

Eligibility for the UTMB Mobile Screening Mammogram:
• Must be at least 40 years old
• Have not received a mammogram in the last 12 months
• Not pregnant
• No personal history of breast cancer in the last 5 years
• No current breast pain, breast discharge, or palpable breast abnormalities
• Must provide a doctor's name and telephone number
• Must not have had a COVID vaccine within 6 - 8 weeks before screening mammogram
