Scored for choir, brass, organ, and percussion, Rutter's Gloria has become a beloved choral work since its premiere in 1974. Its brilliance lies in the combination of rhythmic energy, lyrical tenderness, and triumphant majesty, making it the perfect expression of joy and celebration at Christmastime.
