 Carolann Peters has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, Carolann is an authority on total business acumen and operational management. She is currently the CEO of Bay Area Council on Drugs and Alcohol (BACODA). Carolann served as a Business Advisor for the University of Houston SBDC Network at Galveston County SBDC and served nine years as a training facilitator for the UH Bauer College SBDC Network. As Director of Operations for publicly traded US Physical Therapy with over 500 national equity clinics, she turned around 68% of the underperforming clinics. Carolann has obtained national recognition in Entrepreneur, Small Business Opportunity, and Home Office Computing Magazines for exceptional growth and development of her co-founded bookkeeping, tax, and small business consulting business franchised in seven states with thirteen franchisees. She has developed and managed several businesses including nonprofits from concept including a breast cancer specialty boutique for M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Carolann received her Master Life Coach, Executive and Business Coach, Spiritual Mentor Practitioner, and Relationship Consultant certifications from Behavioral Healthcare Consultants. She received a B.S. Degree in Medical Technology from University of Louisiana Monroe and worked ten years in healthcare as a Clinical Microbiologist and Epidemiologist in Louisiana and Houston.
