The smart side consists of many of the needed functions to run an organization, such as product or service offerings, finances, marketing, and technology. This is a vital area to work on. The healthy area consists of getting the leadership team entirely on the same page and clear about what they are working to accomplish and working cohesively together to that end. Once that is begun they need to build that same level of clarity throughout the organization so that everyone is rowing together in the same direction. Finally, that clarity and alignment needs to be built into the systems of the company to keep it in place for the long haul.
