Angels' Race For Space 5K/10K

Join us for the Walt Cunningham Angels’ Race for Space 5K/10K & Family Fun Run, presented by the Ray Schlaff Family, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Space Center Houston!

This one-of-a-kind, space-themed race brings together runners, families, and the Houston community for a morning of fun and purpose while celebrating the legacy of Apollo 7 astronaut Walt Cunningham.

Participants can choose from a timed or untimed 5K or 10K, Family Fun Run, or virtual race option, making Race for Space an event for all ages and abilities.

Proceeds benefit Be An Angel, a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with multiple disabilities and profound deafness by providing specialized equipment, hearing devices, respite care, and other essential services to families in need.

Come run, walk, or cheer us on at one of Houston’s most iconic destinations and help us make a difference for children throughout our community.
