Executive Directors of our member nonprofits are invited to the March meeting to learn and share ideas with fellow leaders of our outstanding nonprofits. Led by our Nonprofit Engagement Committee Chair Christina Thompson. This month's program is presented by Laurie Hall titled "Thriving Through Change: Steady Leadership in Uncertain Times". Change is nothing new for nonprofit leaders—but some seasons demand more resilience, more discernment, and more heart than others.
After years of disruption, constrained resources, and growing community needs, many leaders are asking: *How do I keep going—and help others do the same—without burning out?* This engaging and practical session invites nonprofit leaders to pause, reflect, and reframe how they lead through uncertainty. You’ll explore proven transition and change frameworks that help you make sense of where you are, what’s being asked of you now, and how to move forward with confidence and compassion. Rather than chasing certainty, you’ll learn how to lead with clarity, communicate with care, and create stability—even when the future feels unclear. Participants will leave feeling grounded, validated, and equipped with tools they can use immediately in their organizations, boards, and communities. ---
**Learning Objectives** Participants will be able to:
1. **Normalize and navigate change** by understanding common leadership responses to uncertainty and recognizing where they—and their organizations—are right now.
2. **Strengthen personal and organizational resilience** using practical strategies that support sustainability, engagement, and well-being in resource-constrained environments.
3. **Lead with clarity and confidence** by applying communication and decision-making approaches that build trust, reduce overwhelm, and align stakeholders during ongoing change.
